This is by far the greatest tasting PIZZA ever in Manitoba, nothing even compares to it. The toppings are extremely generous and fresh, the sauce is amazing. My husband and I are from rural Manitoba and grew up on Pizza Place pizza and it tastes just as good as it did 42 years ago if not better. The owner is a wonderful, friendly character who takes great pride in his food, service and satisfying his customers. It is well worth the drive from Winnipeg, it is a highlight of our summer!!
Annual pilgrimage to Pizza Place while out for for the Gimli 10 miler. Still among the best pizza anywhere. Excellent ingredients and generous portions. Original pizza oven is far superior in comparison to the conveyor belt toaster oven styles you'll find at Winnipeg take out locations. Great staff and funny owner always make you feel welcome. Keep the tradition going Jim!
Pretty dark and old school inside. Owner is a goofy fella that loves to tell tales. Food is pretty good after a swim with zebra mussels.
Busy little place. Dated but friendly service. Tried the clubhouse pizza. Looks weird but was good. Will go back.
