So pretty
We have spent a few times camping in the provincial campground at Winnipeg beach. It is perfect. We love the community and really enjoy the festivals in the summer. This weekend was particularly enjoyable. One thing was very bad,though. Saturday morning at 9:35 we went out of camp site 76 and could smell very strong weed chemical spray. There was a trail of wet spray all along the street in front of our camp site that we followed all the way to the municipal building. There we saw a smaller tractor pulling a spray tank with the spray arms spraying weed control on the grass. Sure enough there was a very large stream of leaked liquid spaying out the back where the hose connected! This on a busy festival weekend when children and adults were walking and playing. Get with the times, WB and stop spraying poison. There was still a VERY strong chemical smell at that corner as we walked to the legion on Sunday afternoon.
